Annie Meyer Studio kitchenwares aim to enhance the cooking and dining experience. There is often a disconnect in the way we have begun to think about and treat our food, and they way we think about and treat our objects. These organically shaped cooking and serving tools help to bridge this gap. Formal inspiration is derived from the curved branches of fruit trees, and bulbous wandering roots freshly pulled from New England soil. No two pieces are ever exactly the same. Spoons are carved along the bends of fallen and pruned branches, into shapes determined by the trees from which they fell.
