Women woodworkers are a force on the faculty of the Eliot School of Fine & Applied Arts. They also work as fine cabinetmakers, spoon carvers, expert turners, public artists, preservation carpenters and construction supervisors. See their work and talk about their artistry, their experiences in the field, and their roles as teachers, handing down skills to both adults and children. Women have been an important presence throughout the school’s 340-year history.
Part of Boston Design Week 2016. Free admission.
